Touch of Hearts A Family That Cares for Yours
Every family has a story, and ours begins with a simple yet powerful belief: every child deserves love, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive. Touch of Hearts was born out of this belief—a family-owned company dedicated to supporting families like yours by offering compassionate, tailored care for children with disabilities.
Our founder, Vanitha, started Touch of Hearts not just as a business but as a heartfelt mission. As a mother herself, Vanitha understands the challenges families face when caring for a child with special needs. She has seen firsthand how love, patience, and the right support can transform not only the lives of children but the lives of entire families.
Our Journey
The idea for Touch of Hearts began in Vanitha’s own home. Friends and community members would often share their struggles of balancing work, life, and the care their children required. Many spoke about how overwhelming it felt—navigating complex systems, managing daily routines, and finding caregivers who truly understood their child’s needs. Vanitha listened, understood, and felt a strong pull to do something that could make a real difference.
From these conversations came a dream: to build a care service that feels like family, where every child is treated with love, dignity, and respect. In 2020, Touch of Hearts opened its doors in Melbourne, and what started as a vision quickly became a lifeline for families looking for trustworthy, compassionate support.
Today, our family-owned company has grown into a team of caring, skilled professionals, all sharing Vanitha’s original vision: to go above and beyond for every child and every family we serve.
Our Mission
The heart of our mission is simple: to bring comfort, relief, and peace of mind to families while helping children thrive in every way possible. We strive to create a world where children with disabilities feel empowered, included, and celebrated for who they are.
We know the journey isn’t always easy, but with the right support, families can flourish. That’s why we go above and beyond to provide care that not only meets practical needs but also nurtures the emotional well-being of the entire family.
A Message From Vanitha
“When I started Touch of Hearts, I wanted to create something that felt personal, warm, and full of love. I know what it means to care for someone you love with all your heart. Families like yours inspire me every day to keep going, to keep listening, and to keep finding ways to make life a little easier and a lot more joyful.
To every family we work with, thank you for trusting us. It is a privilege to care for your child and to be a part of your family’s journey.”

“Respite care seemed like an impossible dream for us. My husband and I hadn’t had a proper break in years, as caring for our 12-year-old daughter with cerebral palsy is a full-time commitment. When we found Touch of Hearts, it felt too good to be true. But from the first weekend of respite care, we knew we’d made the right choice. Vanitha and her team ensured every detail was handled with care and love. Our daughter had a wonderful time—she came home smiling and telling us about all the sensory activities she enjoyed. For the first time in years, we felt like we could breathe. Thank you, Touch of Hearts, for giving us this gift.”

“As a working mother of a 10-year-old boy with ADHD, I always felt stretched too thin. When I heard about Touch of Hearts, I was hesitant—how could anyone handle his high energy and behavioral challenges? But their team exceeded every expectation. His caregiver, James, has become his favorite person. They’ve built such a wonderful bond, and James has helped him focus during activities while having fun. I can’t express how much it means to me to see my son thriving and happy. Touch of Hearts has truly been a blessing for our family.”

“Managing therapy appointments for our 8-year-old daughter with autism used to feel like an endless challenge. Touch of Hearts changed that for us. Their appointment support service has been a lifesaver. The caregivers are always on time, patient, and incredibly supportive. During one particularly stressful hospital visit, our assigned caregiver stayed calm and helped soothe my daughter when she was anxious. It’s clear that this team genuinely cares. I finally feel like I’m not alone in this journey, and I wholeheartedly recommend Touch of Hearts to any parent.”

“As parents of a 6-year-old boy with Down syndrome, we struggled to find a care provider who truly understood his needs. Most places we tried felt impersonal, but Touch of Hearts was different. From the moment we met their team, we felt like family. They tailored a care plan that respected his routines and celebrated his abilities. His caregiver, Sarah, has not only built his confidence but also helped him make friends during group activities. Knowing he’s in such loving hands gives us so much peace of mind. We can’t thank Vanitha and her team enough for the joy they’ve brought to our lives.”
